As the late Maya Angelou said, “Do your best until you know better. Then, when you know better, do better.” I’ve had my share of failures and false starts, but through it all, I learned something new, picked myself up & kept it moving.

Most recently, I have founded the Let’s Get Live (LGL) community, which has helped provide a platform for people to help one another and learn and grow together. I just receive mine today just because Doc recommend it :)
Dare I say the "old school" methodology was that was better to essentially leave it running rather than shut it off. This was supposed to be better for the system and less stressful to components in the computer. I followed that logic for years and years and years. A little while back I saw some tech related people make the argument that shutting it off was now better due to various factors. One being that by shutting it off it decreased the use of the hard drives and therefore extended the usable life of that component. I thought about it and considered the information and ultimately decided to it power off when done. All in all for me it works well. Your milage may vary.
@@knowyourjoe8826 makes total since. I don’t keep my Macs more than two years so I’m never thinking about that long play. I seek while resale is still high and stay with the latest. The late release of M4 Mac Studio is killing me right now 😂🤣
@@DocRockThat makes total sense. When did they release the M4 Mac Studio? Or did they announce it with a future release date? I have a not so great habit of hanging on to things way past their prime and any potential resale. I need to get with the Doc Rock School of Thought! I am getting there.

@@creativegreatsvisuals the Elgato is for gamers the DeckLink is for Broadcast. The latency is is flawless as it’s for TV production. 4 HDMI cameras or computers or anything that puts out and HDMI signal. I have both but the Elgato is a very effective toy

The bottom is the OBSBOT AND THE top is the mirrorless camera 🤔
High end camera on top, Osbbot Tiny 2 lite on the bottom. A virtual steal for $180. I picked one up on Prime days sale for just $160. Already thinking I wish I had picked up another two based on all the reviews coming out on it now. Even if I am incorrect on my guess either image is great for content creation and especially for the price difference it is a total WOW factor. Great time to get into content creation. Equipment just keeps getting better and cheaper.
I keep saying there is not better time than now to be a creator except maybe next week 😂. Mahalo for watching

As someone who has been following and learning from you, the OBSBOT camera has truly changed my life. I can't recommend it enough. I'm actually using the larger versions, and my video production process has completely transformed. I first started with this brand in 2018, using a standard tracking webcam for calls. Now, my entire studio runs on these cameras. Plug it in, it focuses. Turn it on, it records. It tracks me perfectly, and the quality is amazing. Listen to every word he says-it's all true.
